We all have a lot of personal subscriptions, but even more for those who have companies or are solopreneurs juggling AI tools, creative tools, SaaS subscriptions, and way more.

But how many people know there are hundreds of SaaS and subscription deals online that can save you hundreds or even thousands in regular costs? Especially if you're trying to get your thing off the ground, this can be significant.

And you might be the person that knows there are deals available, but it's tiresome to search and you might just forget.

This happened to me recently with a fair few subscriptions including one that had a "One year free" startup deal and I completely missed it. Despite being around subscription deals all the time.

I’m constantly amazed that I find new deals on tools we already pay full price for.

There are deal sites out there, but you have to know where to look and most actually have different deals. And then you're presented with this giant search list to wade through.

So We Built the Subscription Deal Finder

We figured these deals are out there, how do we bring them to your awareness and without needing to search manually?

The Deal Finder scrapes multiple subscription deal websites, and later on university deals, Reddit, and coupon sites, to surface some of the best subscription deals available in the market matching them with your current or desired subscriptions. All in one place.

We built this as a standalone tool first, with the aim to integrate it as a feature of the main Orbit Money app when it matures.

What Can It Do?

Search or match deals automatically: You can search for specific subscriptions, or enter your current and desired subscriptions, it will automatically match available deals.

Upload your subscriptions: We've added the ability for users to upload CSVs or PDFs (like bank statements) to auto-detect subscriptions using AI.

Privacy-first approach: We've been very careful with data privacy. No documents are stored. Files are pre-processed immediately to only extract subscription names before feeding into the AI, which means no sensitive information is compromised.

How to Use the Subscription Deal Finder in 4 Easy Steps

1. Go to the subscription deal finder tool.https://orbitmoney.io/tools/subscription-deal-finder

2. Search or enter your subscriptions Use the search to find specific subscriptions, or enter your current and desired subscriptions in the box at the top. Alternatively, upload a CSV or PDF file to automatically pull your subscriptions.

3. Review matched deals Go through the matched subscriptions. Make sure to check any eligibility requirements (we'll be adding more tags for this soon) as they all have different terms, startup deals, premium tiers, etc.

4. Claim your deal Click through to the deal site and follow the instructions to claim the deal and save.

What's Next for This Tool?

We're just getting started. Here's what's coming:

• More deals and sources: expanding to Reddit, coupon sites, and university deals

• Crowd verification: additional ways to verify deals are up to date (especially with coupon deals ect)

• Seasonal scraping: picking up limited-time deals automatically

• Better search and filtering: more ways alternative to find relevant deals quickly. Such as building ideal startup recommended packages and more.
